Commission Split
eXp’s commission split is competitive. Agents start out with an 80/20 commission split which caps at $16,000 (about $2.66 million in sales volume if you use a 3% commission).
Once an agent caps, they can take home 100% of their commission minus a small transaction fee of $250 (this fee caps at $5,000 and reduces to $75 per transaction).
Revenue Share
Agents at eXp get to invite other agents to join the brokerage. When a new agent joins because of the initial agent’s invitation, they can choose them as their “sponsor.” The sponsoring agent is supposed to provide the new agent with some sort of benefit or support.
