Are you hoping to join eXp Realty but not sure where to start? It’s not hard to join, but if you want a breakdown of each step, I’ll take you step by step through the process of joining eXp Realty.
How To Join eXp Realty
Follow these exact steps to join eXp.
- Submit Joining Application and Independent Contractors Agreement (join.exprealty.com)
- Go to the TOP RIGHT and choose “Apply As An Agent” to begin.
- Here is when you choose your sponsor.
- Login into https://joinapp.exprealty.com/index.html to continue or to finish your application at any time (should you need to come back to it later) by clicking on the ‘ Already Registered? Login Here’ link. If you forget your login information, choose to reset your password.
- Once completed, you will receive an email with your login credentials for Guest Pass.
- During this time, eXp Realty’s internal team will review your application and ICA.
- Once Reviewed, and if no corrections are needed, you will receive the ICA email: Subject: Copy of your Independent Contractor Agreement.
- Next, you should receive an email titled Subject: License Transfer Process. This will detail the process for your state and how to reach out your managing broker. This process varies by state, so please be sure to communicate with your state’s broker ASAP.
- Once your managing broker confirms your license is transferred, your eXp Passport is ACTIVE (Caution, not done yet…).
- Set up your new eXp email alias. You MUST complete this step for full activation and access to everything eXp offers. You’ll get an email – Subject: Activate Your eXp Realty Email Address.
- Active and officially with eXp. Congratulations! You should soon receive two emails:
- Welcome Email ( Subject: Welcome to eXp Realty! Your Passport Account)
- Skyslope Email (Subject: Activate Your eXp Realty Skyslope Account)
Common Questions During the Application
Q: What is the Agent Equity Program?
A: You can enroll to purchase eXp Stock (EXPI) for a 10% discount allocating 5% of your earned commission every transaction. This is OPTIONAL and you can change it at any time.
Q: What is the Mentor/Mentee Program?
A: You will be automatically enrolled into the Mentor/Mentee program if you have 3 or less transactions in the last rolling 12 months. A mentor will work with you until you have completed 3 transactions with eXp Realty.
Q: What Should be the Start Date?
A: You can place any start date you want, but you have the final say for when you actually transfer your license. eXp will not start that process for you. You are the person who must make the transfer request when you are ready, following the instructions eXp sends you.
