As you join eXp, you’ll have the option to pick a sponsor from eXp. Your sponsor is the person who is responsible for encouraging you to join eXp Realty in the first place.
Many agents don’t realize that this sponsor-sponsored relationship lasts for the entire time you work with eXp.
The importance of this secret comes in when you’re considering which sponsor to choose. You can choose a sponsor who does absolutely nothing for you and leaves you to your own devices as you navigate eXp. OR you can choose a sponsor who will actually help you grow.
The best sponsors at eXp Realty are those who provide agents with training, resources, and personal support. When you’re considering this long-lasting relationship, make sure you find a good sponsor.
2. eXp Offers Many Untapped Resources
Many agents joining eXp Realty don’t realize how many resources the brokerage offers. A lot of agents are working harder than they need to because no one has told them about the many untapped resources eXp has to offer.
For example, many agents are hiring expensive designers because they don’t know eXp has a huge marketing center with well-designed templates ready to go.
Agents are hiring lead generation companies instead of using the extensive lead generation capabilities of kvCORE. Agents are seeking expensive training when eXp offers 60+ hours of live training for free.

- Revenue share–eXp agents can join a team and earn a share of other agents’ revenue.
- Commissions–eXp offers an 80/20 commission split with a cap at $16,000.
- Stock awards–you’ll earn stock regularly at eXp, with the option to purchase more at a discount
- Home warranty–eXp partners with America’s Preferred Home Warranty, allowing agents to earn a $50 referral fee when clients use this company to buy a warranty.
- Virbela affiliate–for every agent you introduce to Virbela (eXp’s platform provider), you can earn 25% in affiliate income.
- In-house mortgage company–eXp has an in-house mortgage company in IntroLend. You can buy into IntroLend and earn dividends, with opportunities to increase your stake the longer you’re with eXp.

It’s easy to join eXp Realty. Here are the simple steps you need to take:
- Head to join.exprealty.com.
- Create an eXp account by clicking Apply as an Agent.
- Submit your application.
- Select your sponsor.
- If you don’t have one in mind, feel free to place me: Jaime Resendiz – Crowley, TX (I sponsor agents worldwide and help them with their business).
- Submit your Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA).
- When your managing broker confirms your license is transferred, your eXp Passport will be active.
- You’re almost there now! Just set up your eXp email alias.
- You’re Active and officially with eXp. Congratulations!
